I said I made a short research on you, not that I knew your in and out. Firstly: stop calling me names butterfly and secondly: stop with your absolute borderline aggressive attitude dude as you're no one important here really (if thats any surprise to you then sorry), to tell others to shut the fuck up? You high? :P We're exchaning points of views and I'll stop considering you a side in this debate if you keep calling me names.

TDLR : A - you want the code because you feel entitled to it (your not). B: you want the db (you wont get it). C - you feel butthurt and post bs "research". "borderline aggressive" - you are funny and have a wierd perception of whats considered that. " if you keep calling me names", says the guy who just called me a blizzard "fanboi" because he thought i just quit playing retail wow... jeez, i can only asume you have some bigger problems than wow. You are not really adding much to "exchanging points of views", you have already made yours clear by the thread title and your first post. You want the code and dont want blizz to host offical legacy servers, and you rather see it in a private sector, well congratz, thats what we have today, so my previous posts stand, go find another unreliable realm to play on before it gets shut down because of a mixed bag of potential and likely reasons. I just think its funny that you trust complete strangers rather than blizzard to handle it, and i can only assume its because of what they did with retail over the past years, i guess you have not seen how many modified servers there are out there - and with or without nosts slightly updated mangos server, it wont change the private "sector" much. Good luck finding stability for a long time on any private server.

A - You're right, I'm not, never said I am, don't make things up:) you assuming I do because you don't like what I'm saying is totally different matter
B - same
C - glad that I entertained you but you still completely fail to understand written language, my last post made it pretty clear that I'm not against Blizz Legacy servers. Let them come but... without hindering private scene development. Forcing to hold the code is just that. If Blizz can't stomach "imperfect" Nostalrius code out then they really don't care about community.

Ye ye... you can repeat your favourite line "if they release code chances for Legacy are gone you moron" yada yada shit-talk galore, even if what you mean by this quote is true (which I'm not certain of, seems you are for some reason, some prophetic powers I assume?) this should not be a factor at all, are you telling me Blizz can go "butthurt" on Nostalrius-Legacy servers deal because they released code? Be real:) they are not doing or not doing something because they feel annoyed, they do things for money and in my opinion releasing the code shouldn't matter in their decision UNLESS they are just using this Legacy server thing as a powermove to divide (first thing a good ruler do) and shut the community down.

Don't take things personally, if you feel offended by "blizzard fanboi" then I'm sincerely sorry, I didn't use it as an insult (although some would be flattered by that line its also not a compliment) I used it to highlight that we are not the same (both in our experience with wow as I played from week 2 vanilla up to season 2 tbc on official and expectations that come thru that experience). Peace

Do I trust Blizzard over strangers? Well you're right mate, strangers are unknown to me so under that there is both good and bad, but I know Blizzard and all I can think about them nowadays is bad, so yea as small the chances are that strangers will do something good I actually think they got a fair chance against Blizzard:P The thing with me is that I crossed the point of giving benefit of doubt for Blizzard long ago. Now THEY HAVE TO PROVE to me they are worth shit first, I myself don't give them any time to throw me some bone like "we will think about it"

All in all I got a feeling its all bullshit really, I think there is a fair chance Nost Team was threatened to both hold the code (because Blizz know its good) and talk how good the meeting felt like (so half of community shut-up and stop spamming their facebook with #Nostalrius), all this talk about "if they don't fight it they loose it" is also BS to me as there are many servers that are not being taken down, just because they are bad so Blizz don't give a fuck about them, bad servers don't pose a threat even tho legal wise same rule applies right? I'm not a law expert so clear me on this but why Nost pose a legal threat and they have to shut it down to protect their rights and some older, shittier vanilla servers, also in countries that allow legal action are still up?
