It'll come back with Blizzcon, where they will either announce hosting, or plan more damage control. They might push for pristine servers 2.0, now with the ability to turn off your XP gain, so you can stop at 60, 70, etc. This isn't a solution that does anything that anyone wants, but I bet it'll be the next hat trick they try to shovel by to put out the next fire. "Now you can turn off XP and play whatever expansion you like. Isn't that what you wanted." They'll totally miss the point, once again, and need it explained to them why it's a terrible pointless idea, in many ways.
