Recover Character or not ? what do you think ?

I'd rather pick where we left of, sure starts are kewl and this would be extra kewl to come back after this whole drama but I bloody hate coming back to farming mc and bwl for another year. And Imagine the first come back pvp event with our old chars... ungoro with 5k vs 5k O_o Please do it! Melt my computer.

I agree with opening a third server. The server felt unplayable at peak times, especially with population hitting close to 15K at times. If the server ever re-opens, there will likely be enough new players for them to sustain their own server (plus old players looking to start anew)

But there are also players who had a ton of work put into their characters, and as Viper said "In the end, pleasing the community is the only thing which should matter" I don't think any part of the community would be displeased in getting their characters back.

I have already made a post related to this question, but I will post here as well.

I do not see any reason why we shouldn't. Unless some major changes were to be made, which would affect the fairness of people who start now or started like 6 months into Nost, we should just continue from where we left off. And with changes I mean shit like ''decreased gold/drop rate tot 50% or ''decreased XP from quests/mobs by 70%'' or some shit like that which obviously would not be the case.

Everyone just took a break on March and will hopefully continue soon. But I do think if something were to happen, it would probably mean the code going open source and the character data being released, making everyone else able to start their own version of Nost. I very much prefer Nost to continue on ofcourse as we can not know how the people who would use it are competent and fair enough, and able to continue building on where Nost was left off. Hoping for the best ofcourse.

You will never see your characters again, get over it...have fun building up your toon again. That's the whole point of the game.
