The only thing they need to touch is balancing some classes/specs to be viable for raid(enh/ele sham, bal druids, ret and tank pal), without compromising class integrity and "pvp balance".

And after that it will be like "and now we will fix a and b to...." i doubt it could be done without them changing other things. If they do change some things the communtity (some) will cry their eyes out til they get their changes done (iv read some of em here that they should update the models, and add all other kinds of crap).

I just want to open some minds to a non-integrist approach... after everybody is free. ;)

Oh ! and if possible the EU server shall be hosted in my village.

Everybody want something slightly different...

How about no changes at all...? Changing anything just opens up a slippery slope which will lead to the down fall of the entire enterprise.

I get that, but it will just lead to pristine sadly :/ I agree, the wait is soon over.

The only change should be increase in server pop IMO. None of us will agree on any other changes. I would accept UI changes but anything else would be bad.

For maintenance purpose, I think that they will push to integrate:
- bnet integration
- last addon compatibility

It's just clear from my PoV that they will never support different version of addon languages (Lua etc, I am not a pro in this domain) if they create a vanilla server.
Another point is that they will never create a "new" WoW server not connected to bnet.
