But what if Blizz announces legacy servers yet they need 2 more years to develop them?

Which is rather sad + they feel the need to "fix" vanilla which might just end up being something completely different. I think everyone is holding their breath until Blizzcon.

they should hire nostalrius staff and open servers asap while they continue development. and classic wow should be an independent department/sub-department under world of warcraft under influence of the nostalrius staff only and no one else!!!

If only man. Blizzard staff are to cocky and toxic, case in point project titan. If they let titan fail due to their ego imagine how they would handle having people Nost Devs come on board.

Titan had some of early WoW's best and brightest. You can't win em' all. Did you even play vanilla? Do you remember what their staff was like back then? (Do you need examples of this?)

You're calling modern Blizzard cocky and toxic? If anything, they've lost their punk edge. Years of professionalism muzzled the rebellious attitude that made early Blizzard so loveable. I just don't agree with you when you tell us what you think ruined the chili.

Old Blizzard would have hired the Nostalrius staff straight after the meeting. That's the kind of crew they were. Their best and brightest came from recruiting the cocky, the toxic and the bright.

You must've missed how the project failed and how most of those people are still around dude. You are dismissing how the smashing success of vanilla wow and BC got to the Dev team ego. We're not talking about the old days of Devs, we're talking about the old devs today.
