Why ?

I thought, after 6 months now im over the whole Vanille WoW nostalgie trip.
But then this on sentence "or we will do it!" appeard from the Nost Devs.

ONLY 1 Fucking sentence and im back in hype, back in the depression over the closing and back with so much hope that one day i can expirience the same quality vanille progression gameplay againe like i did here on Nost.

I really hate my self for beeing so hyped on something that thought i proudly left it behind...
And i really hate myself then i know if there will be a vanilla server again from nost or blizzard,
i will be back and i play the shit out of it like a did so many times ago..

my best case scenario ?
Blizzard hired the complet Nost stuff or sell a WoW Licence so that the team can run there server
independently.

My worst case scenario ?
Blizzard announced Vanilla server with cash shop, name/race/side change, instant 60, and some changes..
but lets be honest.. i would play it and for that, I am ashamed...

It has been mentioned before about Blizzard licensing their game to let organizations such as Nostalrius use it to operate without Blizzard's legal team hounding them. But sell it to them? Nost is good at what they do, but I'm not certain I'd like to see them turn it into a business product. The only way I'd want to go down that road would be to pay a one-time fee.
The real question here, is whether Blizz would sell the license or keep it free, and try to recoup the value some other way. This raises all kinds of questions that we can speculate about. If they keep it free, it would certainly detract (ie, take players away) from the retail version. If it were pay, it would probably detract from Nost in some ways. It would be more of a job, less about passion/fun. So, how to keep it free?
