What happens in this case?

As a consequence, if Blizzard doesn't make an announcement to honour their own core values, be sure that we will.

In the end, pleasing the community is the ONLY thing which should matter.

Let's say blizzard says " We are awared of the amount of players that want to play Legacy servers, so we are working on it and we expect to see Legacy servers soon"

Is that considered as a honour announcement? Because as far as we know how motherfuckers they can be makes me think that they will say something like that and keep us in silence for a long time again...

Blizzard is notorious for stringing its players along with vague comments. (See the who flying fiasco). They will say anything (that doesn't make them specifically accountable) to keep players coming back. I fully expect them to say something vague about legacy servers. Like "it's definitely on the table, definitely something we are looking into" - don't hold your breath.

That's the outcome a lot of us will despise, the stalemate where Blizzard keeps us in silence for 2 years, then when the product is finally out, it's not what we had hoped for at all. I'm not going to pay for them to sell free boosts to 60, microtransactions or whatever shit they think of.

In my opinion, it's nost/crestfall or I don't play WoW at all.

If they say something like ''we are looking into it'' i think nost will reopen. Because thats the same answer they gave us back in June when they met. A pure false hope stalling tactic to get people to buy legion because the legion presales were being cancelled at an amazing pace thanks to the nost situation . But if they say what the OP did, yes thats worst case scenario, and nost probably wont come back if that happens. And we will be waiting for atleast another year minimum.

The nixxiom video clearly states that nost is saying they have to announce legacy servers or theres a comeback in store. The fact that nost retweeted his video basically makes his statements in regards to nost legit IMO.

5:24-6:49 for the juicy bit.

Whatever happens i know blizzard won't release legacy servers soon, not because i am a hater but they would have to make multiple servers for Vanilla wow, Tbc wow, Wotlk, now... which version? progressive servers? which language? what about the bugs?... Nope, it won't happen. (i mean, soon, maybe in 1 year)

I truly wish they say something Nostalrius doesn't like at all or even the perfect thing they don't say anything.

If Nostalrius comes back or/and i even have the chance to play my toon again would be the most satisfying thing i and we could have at this point.

Blizzard is shit these days, if they EVEN release a 1.12.1 progressive server in different languages with a moderated cap (5k players) being perfect without bugs and issues ( i doubt it xd), don't you think there is a high chance they involve "Powerleveling to lvl 60" "Race change" "Name change" " Special mount for 20 euro"... etc?

Yes Nostalrius had its problems too but honestly i'd prefer to play on his server not a blizzard one

Theres no doubt about it regarding them implementing their damn cash shop offering 60 boosts etc. Its all about the money. Not only that, the servers would be overran by botters and cheaters, which are MORE than prevalent on legion right now. You go into an eye of the storm and all you see is a bot train running from tower to tower, no ban, for MONTHS. Nostalrius is more blizzlike than blizzard themselves. Crazy isnt it?

I am with you, i hope they dont say anything or give an answer like ''maybe someday'' so nost can come back.

I think any kind of unclear answer by Blizzard will result in Nostalrius reopening.
