Last whispers...

by Arucado » Tue Oct 25, 2016 1:41 pm

I felt like i had to create this thread.

First, i gotta say "I told you", but lets pass of that. Now that Blizzard has finally showed us that they don't absolutely give a fuck about vanilla wow and everything that happened, we should focus in the last thing we have.

Yes, that last thing we have is called Nostalrius Developers. They are the very last chance to get what we all want. Honestly i don't know what will result from the Viper's statement. I don't want to think that they will bring Nostalrius back because most of the hype they have created along the whole server, resulted not to be what we thought.

So, definitely the next announcement from Nost Devs will be the end, let's wait to see what happens now.

Besides of that, i want to make clear a few points:

1) No point of T-shirt campaign. Blizzard made us clear that we won't get any Vanilla server, (if we ever see 1 will be when retail dies).
2) Everything Blizzard said was to calm our tits. Pretty clear isn't it? Just a bunch of stupid beautiful words for nothing, in the end i understand, they are a company.
3) Glad i didn't buy Legion yet nor i didn't pay any sub or blizzcon ticket. Fuck them.
4) If Nostalrius goes up again (its hard to believe it will but in the case) let us continue where we left the trip (you know what this means...)

Sorry if i made writting mistakes.

No point in wiping the old character data imo since we'll need at least one new pvp server anyway...
I wonder what will happen if sodapoppin and other more popular people pick up on the story, 30k+ players waiting for the server to go online does not seem a far stretch at all. Especially with all the coverage we got after going offline.

please be a rehost

Remember that they said that pleasing the community is the only thing which should matter. The devs can clearly see that ever since they made this statement, everyone has been clamoring for Nost's relaunch. I'm not sure what else would please the community if not relaunching Nost.

Sure, Blizz could release legacy servers (even if it's like a 1/10000000 chance), but it would never be true vanilla, they would find something to add whether it be QoL changes, 60 Boosts, Class rebalancing etc.

I agree with returning the characters. I barely got a chance to enjoy my level 60 druid when they announced the shutdown.

Fresh server would be better imo, so new players won't already be behind.

Funny they got the "You think you do, but you don't" guy to announce this, too. They obviously don't give a shit about us or Legacy.

If Nost relaunches, I'd like my characters back. But in any case we need atleast 1-2 more servers to control the flood of new people, and preferably some real control measures in regards to people of a certain country who have an affinity for RMT, non-integration and AH manipulation.

No chance Blizzard would have released a "pure" vanilla server imho. They would try and dilute Vanilla into the current retail game and come up with a hybrid of shit nobody would play.

Im with you on that, but i think it maybe due to the fact i joined the Nost party late. Maybe if i had a level 60 already i would be a bit salty as i only got to level 45ish on my hunter. But the wife is wringing her knickers at the thought of leveling healer and tank again just like in the day, so im happy doing the journey again.

Make this happen nost please.

The PVP server had 12-15k online at one time before all the publicity.

If a relaunch were to happen, there would be soooo many more wanting to try Vanilla a second PVP server would be needed. Allow the character data to stay on the main PVP server, and make a fresh start pvp 2 server.

Give the option to toon transfer from PVP 2 to PVP 1 if low population ever became an issue on PVP 2.

Wiping all the player data levels the playing field for emerging Crestfall server. You will lose a good potion of the established end game player base if our toons are deleted.
