What to expect

I didnt know about Nost untill i read some News concerning it's shutdown earlier this year.
And i was very happy to read that Nost will see a revival. Curious as i am i made me an Elysium Account
just to take a look at the progress, that i expected that should have been made in the last few years of Vanilla
Emu. But oh boy, what a disappointment.
The Horde starting area was clustered with corpses, highlevel Ally Players slaughtering Quest NPC and Noobs while the guards didnt react.
I then moved on to the cave nearby, just to witness NPC's that try to chase me get stuck in the ceiling, and firing at me from positions i couldnt hit back, or standing in front of me and evading all of my hits.
Not to mention the very slow respawn, bugs when trying to loot, or the chat system calling me a Goldbot when i tried to talk with other players about the bugs.

All this scared me a bit tbh. So my Questions to you are :
What kind of Quality can i expect from the Nost Code when it comes back ?
Are there any infos out yet concerning the timeline on the fresh server ?
What about Alterac Valley, will it work like the original with all the quests ?

Elysium had a rough launch. There were A LOT of annoying bugs.
But important and annoying bugs got fixed very fast actually.

They switched to a new core just before their release, so they didn't take the time like Nostalrius did to build it up to some extent first.

To answer your questions:

What kind of Quality can i expect from the Nost when it comes back ?

Since Elysium will add Nostalrius Code + their Database, you can expect a great quality of the scripts. In addition there are at least 16 former Nostalrius staff members joining Elysium, so you will have a professional and high quality support there just like Nostalrius had.

Are there any infos out yet concerning the timeline on the fresh server ?

No. But it will most likely follow a similar route like Nostalrius PvP & PvE

What about Alterac Valley, will it work like the original with all the quests ?

Worked almost completly fine. Sometimes there were some issues with Korrak but I didn't catch anything else.

You won't experience any of that shit with the nost scripts, except for maybe the goldbot muting when you're below lvl10.
