Then they'll bitch that the effort required to pull the lever was too much work, and that it should just be automatic. One day they'll bitch that their character isn't already in the dungeon they want to go to, before they even log on. What'll happen is you'll pre queue up on your phone WoW ap, and when you log in, your character will already be inside the dungeon waiting for you. Then they'll bitch that they had to fight something to get the purples in the first place, so those will eventually be sold on the cash shop. I mean, why not? You already sell max level and gold, you may as well sell the gear at this point too.

Get this man a refreshing beverage. The majority of "gamers" now want things easy. This "casualization" has happened over time. There are less and less of the players like you can find embedded in the original Nost community. Ones who wish to put in great effort for great reward. Even folks who had never played classic wow were enjoying the challenge there.

With all the mud slinging and back and forth going on, people forget that it is the people that made Nostalrius great. It is being brought back for us because there is no Nostalrius without us. You can feel entitled all you want whether you are new or old...but attempting to ruin the community we built due to your own ignorance is just baffling.

And I'm even starting to think, they wanted to piss some of you off. There are just too many people frothing at the mouth to play on Nost due to its hype. They honestly cannot support all of the players that will be actively trying to level characters out in the world on day one if they released the fresh server first. So they make this announcement today, and man it pisses a lot of you off and you are so salty. And now I really do think, they were hoping you would pick up and go somewhere else. And that then the intelligent folks would swoop in and pick servers. And finally the crazy entitled fresh start screamers would have fled to CF, or another game or another version of the game entirely.

It really depends on if they instantly shut down after the announcement, wait until many approved the new Server in terms of quality and so on or just continue to keep that server up regardless of what they said now, time will tell. (eventually lol)

What!? They sell gold!? Glad I haven't touched that POS since Wrath.

And something equally terrible... When I was following Wildstar before it launched, there were sooooo many people bitching that they wouldn't have a raid finder, and asking why anyone would ever PvP out in the world because there is no reward for doing so, and asking development to make dungeon finder work in such a way that you don't have to actually discover the dungeon first. Dumb shit like that.

That's when it dawned me that not only is retail WoW a flaming bag of AIDS, but people that think they are "MMO players" are a bunch of little whiny cunts that want insta-purples without ever putting any effort into actually playing the game. They want MMOs to be glorified lobby games! That is the exact opposite of what a MMO should be! AHHHHHHHH!!! Kill me.

But Blizzard's arrogance will likely keep that from ever happening. Because they think that pushing a button to queue up for free rewards like a fucking rat in a cage pulling a lever for a food pellet is what people want.

TBH I'd much rather play on a project like Nost / Elysium rather than some cash shop watered down version of Vanilla wow. If legacy does be released by bli$$ard l am sure that they'll add some in game shop to make that extra money off of it.

Well, kinda. It seems that Nost's objective is not necessarily to provide the best gameplay experience but rather to stuff as many people as possible onto a realm, kill draw distance and increase lag, in order to say, "Hey, look at us! We're so popular! Maybe you should do this officially."

Blizzard's "pristine server" concept is the right idea to rebuild a server community. They should pursue this regardless of whether they do legacy or not.
