Aggresively pushing Blizzard towards OUR direction!

by Amerlene » Sun Apr 10, 2016 9:25 pm

From a post i did on Hearthstone forum - thread will probably be shut down anyway no need to link to it. help me out creating more threads like this around battle. net their FB page and such:

This was the only free forum where I could write about this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLPGLI4YUc4

https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=42654

I hereby declare a form of warfare on Blizzard including things, such as, boycotting them.
Was kind of hyped for the next HS expansion...well sry blizz, didn't like the RNG of HS anyway.
Was considering buying legion, sry would have gotten bored after a month or less anyway..not to speak about the start that would fail as usual anyway.

Please help me out with the "war"!

Nah. Useless and childish.
A good public relation campaign as we do now is a way more usefull than trying to DDOS Blizzard. Trust me on that ;-)

I wan't to see both. and i want to see in consistently.
Slow - "political" campaigns, Good!
Then you add in some terrorism, spam them with tickets, etc?
Spam forums and such.

Make a good balance. Nice Formal talking on one hand, signing petitions having nice little conversations on one hand etc.

And then terrorize without mixing it together with the "political" things.

Because there are genuine fans of other blizzard games that don't care about wow, never played wow, that would turn their eyes on a hateful bunch from private server that ruin their game forum (hearthstone, starcraft, diablo, whatever) and that would ruin positive PR we're getting now. For every @Nostalrius post u'd get 10 replies from Hearthstone haters for example. Nostalrius community as great as it is cannot and should not battle general blizzard community. By spamming their forums u're hitting their retail playerbase more than u hit blizz itself and honestly I can't see how retail players should suffer for our downfall. I mean why would u HIT blizzard, its their fucking game for gods sake. The whole point is to show HOW WE LOVE vanilla so they consider releasing vanilla servers or atleast leave the private server scene be (because it hurts their PR)

P.S as much as I understand ur spike of hate toward blizz as I feel good when i see full scale riot, ppl spamming their fb and quiting preorders (well i lost 58 days played so yeaaa) but I think to wage war u need to have resources for that. Its not the war we can win with strength of arms, we should wage war like Gandhi, with peace and love, saying we love their game as they created it. This way when they strike us they are seen as striking their own fans which is terribad for their PR. If we start spamming their games forums and DDoSing we will be seen as terrorist asap and dealth accordingly, we will have ultra bad PR and their community will back them up in an instant.

I Don't care about the other Blizzard fans, they shouldn't support a company that act like blizzard anyway.

On the other hand you might be completely right. But my motives are carried by both hate against blizzard as a whole, and this shutdown of Nostalrius.
I suppose I'm done with this thread, as further argumentation for my cause would only lead to Godwins law  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law

Yea i totally get u but u gotta understand that the way it is now, why we have a positive PR is because retail players, streamers support us. If we start destroying retail game in some way we will loose that support and alienate ourselves.

Hello,

While we appreciate the support you show us, and understand your eager, we cannot support or even accept any kind of threats on our forums.
We should not consider Blizzard as an enemy, neither should we declare a war. We are a strong community sharing values, respecting and playing Blizzard games.
We chose to let Blizzard answer our requests through this online petition:
https://www.change.org/p/michael-morhai ... =522873458

You can share it, speak about it around you, and that is the way our community will get support and be heard.

Regards,
Daemon.
