Where is everyone going?

I've been seeing people talking about migrating to different servers like Rebirth, Kronos, or PlayTBC. I'm wondering where the progression scene is moving to?

Are more of the progression guilds going to any of these servers?

I've heard from a few people that guilds like Dreamstate, Nope and Coalition among many more were going to be playing on Playtbc can anyone confirm if this is true or not? What about DBC, Gnarly, Pheonix, Winter's Chill, Blacklisted, NaCL?

I've heard nothing about Rebirth, heard Kronos scripting is lacking and well playtbc has been an odd experience.
I'm seeing claims of a fully scripted blizzlike environment (The instant 60 being the only exception but slightly welcomed after the nost shutdown) but the website, the forums, and the admin comments don't convince me quite yet (Very nice people, but it doesn't seem professional).

I know my guild will be hitting up playtbc but if it ends up being a disappointment i'm not sure where else to play.

I don't know, I'd avoid places like PlayTBC and any other BC server.

I think we can all agree Nostalrius swooped in and showed us all what a real quality private server could be. They were going to do the same with Burning Crusade... Though, we know how this ended.

Anyway, one of the developers on the TBC Github Organization for Nostalrius has made some comments about PlayTBC and Corecraft. If we can trust Nostalrius, and we should, it looks like there realms will be just as terrible as the crap that has been shoveled into our mouths for almost a decade before Nostalrius showed up.

To narrow it down he seems to indicate it's all hype and no content. The hype being generated by players who are ignorant to what a quality realm is, I think we all know many "that guys" from Molten who always told us "It's perfect scripted like Retail man". The masses do not usually know.

You should trust Robinsch. Stay away from hype machines that cannot deliver anything.

Damn, he's basically reiterating my worst fears about this server. I'm back to being sad now

We could wait until Nostalrius decides what to do with their source code and databases. If they give them to another realm, if they release them publicly or select to start a new realm under new identities (aka Warmane) then you won't have to grind another warrior from 1-60.

Warmane - Lordaeron feels exactly like Nostalrius for leveling. Tons of people all around, well scripted content. But it is WoTLK server

It looks promising enough and I like the idea of a fresh start vanilla server, the population is very low right now, but the number of registred users is increasing swiftly, with some adverting and spreading the word around, it might become a decent server.

Well Corecraft is going to be very good (anybody who has played on the test server knows that it's already REALLY very good) but it has to release first, which could easily be another year or more....
I'm going to try PlayTBC but I think I'm going to stick to Kronos, PlayTBC looks like the same "blizzlike" crap we endured on Feenix before.
