Definitely. I've seen so many people at mmo-champ, and wowservers reddit who never got to play Nostalrius, but are very eager to if it relaunches.

Was just about to ask that (since i dont visit mmo-c anymore) if that was the case? Cause i remember people being real jerks + "bad cops" moderators who would keep obvious trolls and bait thread creators free and slam infractions on people who called em out.

Yeah. Pitiful nolifers (can tell from amount of posts) and trolls.

MMO Champ used to be really hostile versus any private server and private server players. Following Blizzard's change of stance, they modified their stance somewhat and allowed Nostalrius posters to post freely without getting banned.

Pro-Retail trolls are still not disciplined but at least the Mods there and Chaud granted us freedom of speech and for that I thank them.

In the interest of history, before Nostalrius the MMO Champ trolls and Moderators even denied that the pro-Legacy server movement even numbered beyond a few dozens of people.

Despite the obvious (glaring) hostility of the resident and untouchable MMO Champion trolls, it is quite obvious that the topic of Legacy servers interests a great number of people, otherwise the megathread would have died quietly and never quite reach 2 million views.

So, in actuality the trolls are serving our purposes well by...trolling and in fact bumping the thread, which is to our best interest.

Would like to post an example from the Bible that I could not post at MMO Champion being as they are strongly Anti-Christian and Anti-Jewish:

To paraphrase the New Testament, it is quite clear that Nostalrius and interest in thereof, cannot die and be buried.

If, as the trolls claim, there was no real interest in Legacy servers beyond the minority (as they claim) of the about 275,000 people who signed the petition, the Nostalrius Megathread would have died MONTHS ago.

Instead, it is living and has reached 2,000,000 views.
