kudos to the OP.

Why play a vanilla private server that can go any second (hopefully wont happen) if you don't wanna relive the golden wpvp days of 2005?

To get the same virtual purple items that you may or may not have had 11 years ago? What for? Thats as sad as wanting to get the stronger pokemon that you wanted 20 years ago in primary school!

I think these horde players are doing great, alliance come on we can do it too, stop being the sick sheep you are, wake up and take up arms against the invaders!!!

Player created content = best content.

I figured i like the role of that "bad orc invader"

The low lvl zones also have such different aesthetics, i love them. Elwynn, Westfall, Redridge, Durotar, Barrens and especially dun morogh. Theyre very well made, gives you an adventurous and cozy feeling.

PvP events in those zones would be awesome, for me at least. I start to dislike the higher lvl zones. Probably cause theyre presented as barrens, plagued, defiled zones to justify the extra danger, and how neutral bases take over instead. Except winterspring, that zone is great, but id still rather dun morogh as the snowy place.
I dont know..dont you feel it? Somehow thats how my first levels seem to be the most fun, the zones are nice.

Arathi, Hillsbrad and Ashenvale, those 3 zones, each one tied to a battleground have a variety of alliance and horde bases, would be ideal.

Oh how much i wish battlegrounds didnt exist, id enjoy ranking a lot, why did nostalrius release bgs at release date, cmon...we never got to experience a vanilla wow with no battlegrounds, and those ages were golden, thats what i dearly want to experience most, from the things that werent accessible anymore
Was good to have you all

I dream of an mmorpg with no instances, no bgs nor raids.... Just the good ol' out in the world gameplay, open world dungeons are fine.

And to your list of awesome zones, dont forget Lock Modan, and dare I add Nagrand and Grizzly Hills :P

Being horde my whole wow life I decided to join the Alliance this time and take my sweet ass time to lvl, boy I might even say that the beginner's alliance zones blew me away more than durotar barrens every did, Westfalls and Redridge etc are just beautifully done.

Only wish alliance had half the balls that horde does.

Try Dark Age of Camelot private server Uthgard.
Currently closed but it's gonna reopen sooner or later.

It's just human nature. The overwhelming majority of people simply exist to feed their stomach, or their mental stomach, ego.

If you choose to do something oriented in a different way, it's necessary to accept beforehand that only a few will bother with the idea. Not saying this to discourage you. As annoying as getting ganked in Alliance areas levelling might be, I think you add an interesting new piece of gaming to the whole puzzle, so I actually hope your projects keep going and have new features happening. Even if the only wPvP I do is vs 50s-60 in Burning Steppes and other high level areas where the competition and gear makes it more challenging to me.

Would be cool indeed, but there are no rewards in the game for that kind of stuff. I mean yeah you can get some honor, but if you are in a group of 20 ppl, the honor you get is pretty shitty and real pvpers only care about honor it seems, cos they wanna make as much rank progress as possible and they also don't want to risk getting dishonorable kills.
Pvers dont' care about any pvp either, only about their repetitive dungeons and raids.
Indeed it's as you say, everyone feels the "need to keep themselves updated" so they have to grind shit. I honestly dont understand why people, who only care about gear etc, even play this game? I mean you grind bgs which u dislike, just to get rank, to get gear??? To do what with that gear? Play the bgs that you don't like??? Lol...

Indeed, indeed... I often questioned other players like this, they ended up just saying nothing or "just cause".

Meh, i will try to be happy with this small community i have ^^ , i dont need rewards to do what i like

Wpvp gives the best reward though, the only kind that remain with you after 10 years, all that digital 110001001010 gear will be gone in no time, time wasted on robotic almost job like grind in raids, but the comradery, the thrill the rivalry, the rush you feel when you narrowly escape certain death with a timely instant heal from a passerby druid, these memories will remain the defining moments of vanilla wow or gaming in general, and world pvp is where you get these memories from!

I thought people came back to Nostalrius for the immersive world, populated by players, which was destroyed in subsequent versions.

I've got the same feeling about low lvl zones. Got each class lvled to 20-30 lvl, have no 60 lvl yet.
