Any other factor is secondary to this. The number of people that are lured by wPvP is probably matched by the amount of people who dislike it. The very reason why the PvE server was launched was due to the amount of new people who wanted to participate in it, that weren't interested in the PvP server. If you ask the current PvP server's population "would you quit this server if it was turned into a PvE one?", you'll likely find that the majority of people would stay regardless, as it'd remain the main server.
Lol you think because that the original server is pvp explains why the pve server only has 1/5 of the population as the pvp server? Simply because it's been around longer and is the default server? Despite pve being open for months.
Carebears are delusional. If that statement is correct, why did the devs create a pvp server as the original one? Coincidence? Because the the criticism of the devs to choose a pve server over a pvp one would have been mocked insanely. The game is called World of Warcraft and the two factions are set toe to toe dared to fight each other constantly considering contested shared zones with quests for both parties. You guys are carebears and you reek, jeesh.
