safe spotting is not allowed. If you see a character utilizing a spot on where the guards cannot reach them, then please take a clear screenshot and include a link to it in your ticket. Note that just out-ranging guards is allowed, like often happens at Light's Hope Chapel - just run to the attacking player and you can fight them safely.

We have been buried under an unusual amount of tickets lately, which explains why response times in some situations have been longer than normal. Apologies for this.

So instead of looking at tickets and burying yourselves in textual data, teleport over a city and watch ALL OF THOSE people *exploiting* safe positions. :))))))))))

It would be advisable to search for already reported issues and see if they have been clarified. In the case of Light's hope, here's 6 pages to look at

search.php?keywords=light%27s+hope+chapel

6 pages on Gadget:

search.php?keywords=gadget

additional 22 pages:

search.php?keywords=safe+spotting

Both of the above areas have been dealt with over and over, ad-naseum by staff, and still continue to be reported....as well as countless other areas. All the answers you need, already exist and have for some time, unless you are reporting some new area.

You are supposed to make a ticket for such issues and the burden of answering the tickets is on staff. The burden of atleast making a tiny effort to find the answers for yourself is on you, or should be. : )

Why are the staff overburdened with tickets? Well, here ya go.

Thank you for being a GM who understands, I know for a fact that some guildies who have never safespotted, got warnings while outranging. Hopefully their previous tags will be removed :)

It's pretty easy to know what is safespotting or not.

Can a hunter-pet attack the player in question. If it can it's not safespotting and just outranging guards. (my opinion)

Just to follow this up, I received a warning yesterday for "safe-spotting" at Light's Hope Chapel because I was simply out-ranging the guards, but still reachable by human players (and pets). Do this at your peril as it appears to be at the discretion of GMs as to whether you get in trouble or not.

Please send me a PM with the name of the GM who issued you the warning and explanation of the exact spot you used - preferably with a screenshot.
