I mean it's not like the OP made a post with the Subject "How can we overcome the language barrier", No, used the racist wording "Do the chinese lack common sense or..." and even plain out pure rcaism "If the Chinese cannot assimilate, then they should play somewhere else.". If you don't see how this is racism you don't understand what the word means today (hint, it's not only about race).

If your first language is French and you learn English, it's MUCH DIFFERENT than if your first language is Chinese and you learn English. What I am trying to say is that it's not very hard at all for Finnish people to learn English in comparison as they start at young age and share the same alphabet etc.

Hmmm.. Maybe it's not just germanic then. But Europeans have an easier time learning English from my experience. I'm Turkish and Turkish and English are very different too. (Turkic languages and Germanic languages are very different.) And I also speak Japanese and Chinese (also very different from Germanic languages.)

I just think people need to stop assuming that English is THE LANGUAGE that everyone should know. English isn't some godsend language. It all ties back into Western supremacy.

Doesn't matter. Most russians are able to communicate in english with simple words and sentences. But even with that in consideration and even before asian population grows up, like 8-12 months ago, lots of "public attacks" and "insults" here, at Nost forums, were directed mostly to Russia and russians, because "they are not speaking english\they are ninjas\scammers\goldfarmers\ddos'ers of the Nostalrius (lol)\invaders of Ukraine (lol x2) ... then, community attention switches to asian players, accusing them with same "sins", but population problem and language barrier is mentioned much more often than others.
It's just looks like you always need "demons" to fight and blame (perhaps "witch-hunt" is more appropriate termin for this sentence)

My native tongue does not belong to a germanic group, it's very different and I didn't meet yet any other person on Nostalrius who can speak it, so now what?
I don't use it to advocate the ignorance towards the official language of communication on this server.
