I dont see why the auction bots on the neutral AH would be a problem though, put a low end enchanting material on the AH, like a small glimmering shard (those shitty ones that barely sell for 5s) and put the price at whatever amount you want transferred, if a bot buys it, thats good cause then you still havent transferred the gold and have the amount you wanted to xfer anyhow.

Don't listen to half the morons on here. I transfer from Ally to Horde VIA BootyBay all the time. I transfer hundreds at a time and I've not been falsely banned. You'll be fine.

You have two options. First, you can post something worthless for 100 gold on a neutral auction house and by it on the other character but you're going to pay a very large Commission. Second you could buy enchanting materials to the amount that you want to transfer and then sell those on the neutral auction house for 1 Copper and avoid the transaction. Despite people's paranoia there are no Bots monitoring the auction house.

The time-consuming part if you're doing this yourself is getting to a neutral auction house. For that I would suggest running and swimming along the east coast of Kalimdor rather than trying to run to get to Gagetzan.

The bots don't buy stuff that aren't at a cut price, they scan the auction houses in the capital cities before moving to neutral cities in order to get a clear image of the real value of stuff.
Besides, the AH would still take the 15% cut with this method.

You must be playing on the PvE server then, because on the PvP server more often than not there will be at least 1 bot, and I do this fairly often.

The dude wants the gold transferred to alliance. The best option is creating a human and running to STV, and for horde creating a Troll/Orc, swimming to ratchet and boating to STV is quicker.
