Leveling in retail is such garbage, Blizzard might as well remove it from the game and give everyone the option to make a level 100 character.

I've done it. It's really stupid because it takes advantage of optional quest zones and you skip all the major quest lines. It does require you to have another 100 to unlock flying in Tannan and afford some of the potions, but it's still relatively easy to do.
