Hoping Nost will come back, but I don't want to have no WoW will then.

Kronos seems to be an order of magnitude bigger in terms of player pop than any other vanilla - I'm not sure there really is an alternative, not if you want other players around.

Note I have NOTHING to do with Kronos, I joined Nost on the day it started and I've been with Nost all the time - it's just my view.

I'm about 90% sure everything you said about Kronos is wrong. Pretty sure they're based out of Eastern Europe non EU nations... I wanna say they're in Russia.

It's an International server. There are French, but probably not many. The population is quite low-pop compared to what we were used to here - possibly 500-1000 people online max.

On the good side: It's an old server, reasonably scripted, and all instances except last part of Naxx open (Sapphirion and KT).
It is also a x15 XP rate (you can do 1 x XP if you want), so the server is perfect for chilling out until you know what you want - levelling to 60 takes 12 hours of playing time.

The only french vanilla server existing is not very populated (400 player's max), I would like to play on international server much more populated but I would like to see a french community as well. Could you suggest me some server until Nostalrius reopen please ?

I've already quit WoW, but I'm here on this forum because fuck Blizzard. I'll seriously never touch a game they make in the future. New HS cards being released? Don't buy them.

I actually didn't think Blizard would go this far. There's a reason people don't play the current WoW; what they're doing by shutting down Nostalrius is not going to fix any of their problems. Retail WoW won't suddenly have a boost in population after this.

I've got a 60 on kronos and have done alot of raids and dungeons on both. The dungeons/raids are missing lots of NPC's compared to nost. Also they often don't cast their spells. Dire maul packs are half their size, their patrols are either standing in random spots stationary or scattered over the place. Same with all dungeons starting with Deadmines.

Kronos is severly lower in quality than Nost.

You should consider The Rebirth, its been around for quite a while. The quality is equal to Nostalrius but the population is lower than Kronos.

Waiting for the actual shutdown to decide. If there is a new, fully functional and sustainable server using the Nostalrius database, I'll go there. Otherwise, I'm not gonna start all over again on another Vanilla private server. I'm keeping an eye out on Corecraft, but overall, I doubt that I'll be playing again immediately after the shutdown. I'll probably just leave and wait for a durable solution in the future (e.g. Nostalrius "v2", Corecraft, Blizzard legacy servers).
