If media stops writing about it in a couple of days: No answer.
If the issue refuses to go away after a few days: Insert generic, rehashed from previous statements, short speech why it won't happen.

To be honest, I don't know what he could say about it. Except if it's about Blizzard releasing their own legacy servers (which is very unlikely to happen), whatever he says will only make Nostalrius community angrier and add fuel to the fire, which is why they probably prefer to ignore the matter and delete all threads on official forums, hoping Nostalrius players will soon get tired.

They aren't obligated to even look at it. Answering it is probably out of the question.
a) Blizzard already refused private servers countless times in the past. This isn't just 1 douch in an interview either. It's years of public official posts on networks saying "NO".
b) They already know everyone is unhappy with Nost being shutdown. They already do not care. You're not saying anything new by trying to express to them that you're unhappy about it.
c) Petitions have no legal weight to them. The company it's targeted at can totally ignore it. And 99% of the time, they do. If we made a petition for EA to get rid of their Origin garbage, it doesn't matter if 1,000,000 million people signed it. They'd still shove it down everyone's throat every game release and continue on business as usual.

They're not going to listen to any pleas or petitions because if they cared, they wouldn't have wacked the server in the first place. If they really cared, they'd already be hosting older WoW patches. Don't get me wrong, I also went and hit their Facebook with a few posts. But I don't expect it to actually amount to anything. They'll likely just block my profile and move on.

Unfortunately, they'll probably just ignore it until the dust settles. I just hope that one day the original Nostalrius team will be able to host a legacy server without legal issues. It's not the same having different people picking up the project. Will they be as competent? Will they run the server passionately without a cash shop? Who knows. Even if Blizzard does host their own legacy servers, it won't be international. Also, will they impose a player cap like Vanilla had? I haven't played retail since the beginning of Cataclysm but I'm pretty sure there are servers for different regions (correct me if I'm wrong). I'll really miss the massive bustling world full of people from all parts of the world. I don't think we'll ever have another Nostalrius. Vanilla is truly something else. The entire world was full of players and that's what made this server what it was, the community. MMORPGs these days just aren't the same as they were in the early 2000s, not as immersive and social.
