it translate to things that are done with principles and quality dont happen overnight whereas any server making public statements right now about being the continuation of nost are clearly scammers that will be gone some time next week just as quickly as they appeared

whichever team is working behind the scenes with nost right now isnt running around shouting a bunch of bogus shit it will take maybe a few weeks even to get quietly organized in a way that doesnt bring further heat from blizzard against them

We have not officially or unofficially endorsed any server project yet. The team is looking into various options at this time. We will make an official announcement when the time is right.

Pottu please make Nostalrius 2.0 on your own.You can make your server emulator open source but don't split the community by releasing database.

I found out Nostalrius after Blizzard's C/D and I was looking for a server like this since WotLK. And I don't think I am the only one who never heard about this server.

Just figure out server situation and add an option for subscription. I can happily pay €20/month subscription fee to support nostalrius. And it doesn't have to be mandatory. If 100 people pays subscription fee (and Nostalrious had 150k active players, I am sure we can find 100 people easily) this will make €2000/month which is enough for server costs!

It's true. So many people are claiming to be the official Nostalrius successor and it's all a lie. The only group reaching out in any authentic manner seems to be Valhalla. The conversation about Nostalrius reached their forum and this is what their admin had to say. I hope Nost will at least consider the offer.
