Blizzard releasing a vanilla server this year when legion is coming out this year!?? If anything at its best, maybe in 2 years or more you can expect a vanilla server. lol keep hanging on your dead horse.
Yeah? Well, that's just like...your opinion, man...
On a serious note though; if that's how you feel about the situation, that's fine, I'm totally cool with that. We're all entitled to our own opinions after all...
What I'm not fine with though is the arrogant way you're presenting this opinion, trying to undermine everyone elses view on this whole ordeal, just because
you happen to think it's a lost cause.
I sincerely hope you find some better way to pass the time, for your own as well as the communities sake.
Its not a opinion its a fact. Im just trying to help you guys with your nostalgic problems but I can see its a lost cause. Just like a guy addicted to crack.
Is this the part where all the nostalgic crew gathers up to bash on and reflect their rage on me? lol
Its not nostalgia that people grind hundreds of hours to get, compared to a dozen in retail. It's a fact vanilla took a huge amount of team work and effort to get things done. You were left proud to have earn your; level, tradeskills, dungeon gear, raid gear, and raid clears.
If it was nostalgia people wouldn't be raiding, getting pre-raid bis gear, doing countless 5 mans, grinding out the huge amount of mats to get flask, grinding out the gold to afford to raid, taking countless hours traveling the vanilla world to get to a raid/5 man etc. That's the disconnect you do not seem to understand.
This is where you're super-imposing the last few years of wow onto the vanilla community and thinking its the same. You think its just a matter of logging into your account and a few hours later your max level and in a LFD. Where you'll get geared up for a LFR, where you get geared up in less than 3 days game played. This is what makes you think people are coming to vanilla to feel Nostalgia rather than to accomplish something of note.
