I was on several retail servers last night. One of them was Emerald Dream, one of the most populated realms there is. My census plus showed 389 people. Sure, it was a little after peak hours for US players, but 389 Alliance on a high pop server? The place was so damn empty. It even took me 30 to 45 minutes at a time for a BG, and that's WITH cross-realm battlegrounds. Retail is the one that's dying and dead.
