The "It will split the community" was the same argument the PVP realm made when Nost wanted to make a PVE server. There were so many on the forums wailing "nooooo it will split the community" It's almost like they enjoyed the idea of people not getting something they want. It's scary how many people are out there that enjoy the idea of other people not having enjoyment. One actually said he pvp'd so he could ruin peoples days. Isn't our society great!!! I'm curious how he will feel about that when he has a child and someone is intentionally ruining his/her day .. but I digress .....
Surprisingly those same people who cried it will split the community never came back and said omg we were wrong and it didn't split the community at all ... it just enabled the community to grow even more!
So yeah .. split the community is the biggest b.s. argument because Nost is proof that it's not true at all.
It's kinda like when you split a plant and pot it in two separate containers, the plant doesn't wither and die, nope, two plants grow and thrive. More plants .. more oxygen! (maybe a bad analogy, but w/e)
