I'll never play a Blizzard game again until they implement legacy servers for WoW. I gave up HOTS and HS, love playing them games, but can't now that Blizzard pooped on my face... -_-

This is just the beginning, the movement has made retail players aware of private servers. Many have commented they will go private servers. Blizzard didn't say anything except it "was to hard" to make vanilla, so that more than likely means they wont try.

We got nothing but a response to go F**k ourselves, just keep it up boys! At least make retail players aware they can (some day) go to private servers and find a real game.

I think its better to get Nost and its accounts back up, so they know they can't wipe vanilla off the internet. I'm not sure what the situation is for the Nost team, but if they aren't likely to get legal action out of this, I would hope they follow through with code and accounts being released or put a server back up in Russia or elsewhere.

I'm not sure how helpful spamming their facebook page or bnet is going to be. Nearly everyone has heard about it by now and you're mostly going to annoy people. Bring it up more coyingly. Sneak it in to some WoW discussions around the internet. Let a few good private server names slip here and there. I think the success of the private server scene is much more important than convincing Blizz. Its clear to me they do not want to do it.

Best solution is to give the code to someone reputable and host the server in an untouchable country. Why hasn't this been done yet? Why hasn't the Nostalrius team done this? Nobody is willing?

"We" don't want Bliz to host a server, nor should we expect them to unless they were forced by practical protest. We want a server they can't touch, so isn't there a team that's able to do this?

And obviously this whole Mark Kern thing was / is going to end in nothing but disappointment when Mike says "that's nice dear". Should have easily seen it coming unless it was staged by Blizzard.
