It's a very good sign. They're probably looking to hire Nost and/or acquire the Nost source code, things they've no reason to care about unless they wanted to finally run legacy servers. Having Nost endorsement by Blizzard is the best thing for everyone, and although it'll most likely mean we'll have to pay a sub to play on it, I don't think anyone would complain about that. I'd pay a sub and start over from scratch if it came with official support, security, and no possibility of a shutdown. Private servers might be free, but they're usually broken out the ass, run terribly, aren't secure, have little to no support, and can eventually shutdown, taking all your work with it. Official servers would avoid all of these, and be worth paying for.

We could also get some hosted in the US, which would be a dream come true for Americans like myself, who are crippled playing on foreign servers. They don't host in the US because of legal problems, which official backing would totally remove. Regardless of where they hosted here, it would still be a winner for everyone vs playing on something on the other side of the world.

Or...you know, they'll do what most companies do. Buy up the competition and then sit on the assets.

Probably their "Plan B" if Legion flops. But, if it's marginally successful....Legacy won't happen.

You say this as if the sub is a big part of your income? Do you live in Pakistan or some other -stan third world country?

I am asking b/c I went out last night to a strip club. I paid 30 euros at the door to be allowed in and then spent an additional 250 euros on a bottle of Jim Beam bourbon as well as tips to the girls who were sitting at our table.

A sub for Legacy WoW is going to be 13 euros per month. I spend that much money every fucking day for cigarettes and chewing gum.

I realize this might seem like a ton of money for Pakistani, Sub-Saharan African, Somali or Chinese standards but we are living in the EU and this game is addressed to Europeans and North Americans.

If you are not an European or North American then your opinion on an EU or NA service does not apply.

If you are an European (which I doubt) and you cannot afford to pay 13 euros per month for a sub, then I suggest you stop playing computer games immediately and get your ass off the chair and go get some work because you are in serious trouble.

I Will pay to,I m fed up with servers crashs roll back like the rebirth ,or terrible servers as kronos full of bugs where you can trade toons.
People who invest time in such places are reckless.
So I really hope legacy servers are coming,and I'm sure with Te sub,you LL be able to play with retail and legacy,wich is a very good think, in my case I could play again with my old 2005 warlock I stopped at cataclysm.
I mean with my personal exemple,that' s a win win for blizzard
