How about making a "Hard Core" server which will be true Vanilla / TBC / etc. and make a "Shitter" server which will have cash shop and transmog etc.... you know, for the shitters.

Pretty sure Nost team will tell them that when they meet, thats why i dont see any point in Nost hosting it itself, Blizz would be more reliable in the long run And if they add anything people will leave, just like they did retail.

It would be so fun if "blizzard" opened up a server called Nostalrius, which is vanilla.. with the Nost people handling it with support of blizzard. I at least think that would be the best solution, so its almost stand alone but with support and more GMs from Blizzard.

I want the server/core hosted by blizzard since the Retail quality is x100000000 better than Nostalrius (either if u want accept it or not), but in other hand i'd like to preserve my Nostalrius characters...

Honestly, I'd like to see it run by Blizzard.

IF they can keep out the microtransactionesque bullshit that has been a plague on retail since TBC ($$epic tabards, $$noncombat pets, $$mounts, $$powerleveling).
I'd really want to go back and play on Nost, as Nost were, but run by Blizzard (because, you know, it's their game and all and it feels wrong that they would have to outsource the best content they ever produced). If possible, with less lag, less chinaspam and less "buy gold now cheap $$".

A key factor for me is the population though. I thoroughly enjoyed playing on a realm with so many players. Granted, the dynamic respawn rates are an absolute must, but it was amazing to see so many players everywhere!

Absolutely. Imho I think Nostalrius has set a new standard.

To answer OP's question; I would prefer for it to be run under the Blizzard banner with the Nostalrius team controlling the whole thing. But while that toxic J. Allen Brack is in charge of the Devs I'm not very confident in the WoW teams capabilities of handling legacy servers.
