The future Blizzard legacy servers will be an European and North American affair. So, if you come from a Third World Country (-stan countries, Sub-Saharan Africa, China, SE Asia etc) really this matter should not be your concern.

I agree that fees will be required. But, I'm not buying the racist stuff...WoW has been a global game for a long while. This is a WoW Community problem. No need to exclude anyone, it just makes you sound...silly. Don't hate.

Just my $0.02 from America.

As we speak, I live together with a Chinese-Filipina chick and I live in a European country where the closest place you can find East Asian people is the East Asian national embassies in the country's capital city. It takes a lot of balls to walk around and socialize with an East Asian chick here. You should see the dirty looks we get on the street in a city that is 99,99% white, so don't even try to lecture me on racism because I get mad, okay?

Bottomline is, if you come from a Third World country and can't afford a First World service, you should really try to get a job or leave First World problems to First Worlders.

15 bucks or whatever is it a month are absolutely irrelevant to me, and I'd gladly pay this or even more to get an official, stable, well maintained legacy server.
The only thing that would kill the entire thing off for me are microtransactions, as it goes against any and every principle of good game design and motivating gameplay. As long as there are none, I'm happy to pay a flat monthly fee of whatever it may be.

Suppose it will be the same for most. Many legacy players were probably around during classic or BC days; meaning if they were somewhere in their teens back then, most will at least be well into their twenties today with stable incomes. In which case a monthly sub fee is, for the majority of people, absolutely insignificant.

I have absolutely no problem paying a sub fee for Vanilla. The only way I'd take issue is if there's a cash shop, buying levels or whatnot. That would be a deal breaker.

No offense, but you're coming off as an entitled little shit OP, especially when you talk about how blizzard owes us "veterans" something. No one owes you anything. You pay for a product if you enjoy it, if you stop enjoying the product, you simply stop paying.
It's got to be win-win, and what you're suggesting is bad business. Donations? Come on dude.

If you're from the US and can't spend 15 USD a month on a game... (You can just farm like 50kg on Retail and buy wow time that way) Then bro... I dono if you're from the East coast, hit me up i know some shady peeps who can help you huehuehu. No, but really... If Blizzard does give everyone legacy servers I.E Its like... Well how real vanilla was. Well fuck privite servers as a whole, We the players should unite against them. I mean i don't want to sound like some turncoat asshole, but In the end, for most of us... I assume? (Everyone i met on priv servers dating back to 08ish?) EU RU US China Japan aus, Even a few mates in the middle east. We all of us wanted A real blizz legacy server, different reason Pride morales. not losing your char, I don't have to like the new Blizz to enjoy old blizz games and respect there staff, besides don't you put up with people you hate everyday like everyone else who works?
Also known As Rageheart / Pintero Or the guy who's been hittin on tauren woman since 05?

$15/mo has never been a problem for me, and yes, I'm from SE Asia. If you can't afford it, let me guess, you're either a kid or an unemployed adult. You'd better focus on your study or get a job. We pay for the service because we appreciate ppl's work.

Btw, fuck you Arx_1. Being born in a European country doesn't give you the privilege to insult ppl or make you more educated then ppl from 3rd world countries. What a toxic person.

Peacebringer wrote:1) You need to have or buy (if you don't have it) only basic Classic World of Warcraft game, without monthly fee, to play on offical vanilla servers with option to donate, I know it sounds funny to donate to Blizzard but I think Blizzard owes a lot to its players which are mostly veterans and Blizzard is in debt to its players because Blizzard was ignoring our wishes and desires for years, and those wishes and desires are vanilla realms.

With all due respect this is logic of a child. What is going on in your mind to think that this is a reasonable position to have on the matter?

If it is done well and Blizz does not screw it up with paid crap it is worth it. Even paid transmogs suck. I want to know the person in the gear EARNED it!

I would love to know my chars are not going to be deleted by either Blizz cease and desist order or just a poor private server going under.

You can be upset as much as you would like. You still sound like an a$$. There are plenty of people outside of North America and Europe paying for subscriptions to the current WoW.

Anyway, turn that frown upside down and have a great life.

I don't see any scenario of legacy realms being made restrictively for North America and Europe. Currently, the majority of people playing retail are those located in East Asia.

Non-issue.
