I have three predictions:

Blizzard will announce a server at Blizzcon, and everyone will celebrate and be humored into thinking that we actually did something by voting and petitioning while the outcome was already determined, just like US elections.

Or, Mark will be outed as a shill and it will all backfire.

Or, Mark is sincere, but Blizzard ignores him, and everyone forgets about Nostalrius and wow when Legion fails or someone finally has the balls to make a good mmo to replace all the trash we currently have.

I was going to give you a cookie, but it turns out.... I'm all out.... Sorry.

Not needed. :) I'm just trying to open people eyes, and to make them understand how hard it can be to actually create WoW server. Not to say anything about website.

That says he was going to call Mike and deliver the petitions he printed. What was the result of that or has he done it yet? Still waiting on OP to deliver. Petition has 253,897 supporters. That's way more than what we had from Nostalrius alone before he wanted more. https://www.change.org/p/mike-morhaime- ... -community

i think there's nothing to wait for from blizzard. They have reached what they were planning, just bomb the "Nos community" that was starting to make son hype around the private server "issue" (to blizz) and create some dispointing situation at the release of Legion.

Blizz never will release legacy, at least not untill legion dies (say 6 or 9 month after release).

So, Blizz won this war. Community is spread all over many different servrs, Corecraft, Kronos, Etc.

Blizz dont give a fuck about WoW, nor about us the vanilla fans. They are focused on Overwatch (Take TFC, give it a solid upgrade and bingo , cash flows). Dont expect blizz to give a damn about WoW anymore.

I think you're right because it would take away some of the focus or hype from Legion. "yay legacy servers everyone abandon Legion and come get that new car smell." And the result of "all this" so far is... nothing, no server, just hope. Not that i've given up, but nobodies stepping up for Nostalrius 2 hosted elsewhere, and I have zero faith in Blizzard based on their history and current actions. And i'm not going to run my own server because its too much work to be worth it when I could just play something else like I have been or quit entirely.

I think if we translate this from lawyer speak to human speak it says:
"The 'ambassadors' are not ready to sell you pristine realms as the best possible legacy realms until after we've had our meet with Blizz"

Feel free to drop by and deny that's what Nost team is about to do Pottu, I like to have more quotes for posterity. I'm making a nice collection of all the double speak and outright lies you guys have said since this thing started.

It's easy, just come and state in plain terms that Nost team is not going to support a Frankenstein version of legacy realms and remains true to supporting legacy "as it was then" (bug fixes aside).

That out of the way... that's where Blizzard would like this petition to lead if it can't let it fall back into obscurity altogether.

Why on earth would they poison the well by saying anything like that? Doesn't make any sense, at all.

The Nost team has insights and experience of hosting vanilla servers. That is the main reason that they are getting a sit down with the guys at Blizzard. They will talk and hopefully they will help Blizzard see that it is in their best interest to host Legacy servers. We already know from the history of Nostalrius that the Nost team are purists and besides perhaps some GM actions (where they obviously were understaffed and probably had to settle for less than optimal options) they did everything right. There is no reason not to trust them to handle the meeting well, give Blizzard good advice, and be good representatives of the community.
Pristine realms... Industrial levels of stupidity.
