I remember watching a twitcher speed hacking around ab and got ported to gm island within 1 minute of the speed hacking beginning. Nost did a great job vs cheaters and botters. They are in a whole nother universe compared to blizzards stance vs cheaters.
I dont mind paying at all, id gladly if they let nost reopen as it was and let the nost devs continue with project.
Oh and also if blizz did finally decide to do it we wouldnt see the servers for atleast another year and thats being very generous. Fuck waiting that long. i could also see them adding stupid retail shit to it like faction changing and having their cash shop to get special items. Pure vanilla or nothing at all please.
I'm actually REALLY hoping Blizzard leaves legacy alone. I'd gladly pay for vanilla but that's the thing... I won't be paying for vanilla. I'll be paying for "sort of"-vanilla with microtransactions. What I would really like is for someone who'll stand up to Blizz if they try to shut down their server to take up Vanilla. Sorry Nost, but that whole "we won't continue running the server because we don't want to break the law" thing just isn't fooling me. OR what would be even better is for Blizzard to hire Nost BUT let them take care of Vanilla 100%. No corporate whore trying to slip in some extra cash cows into the game, no shit updates with content nobody asked for, just pure vanilla.
