- that feeling of being totally immersed, almost living in the game, that i haven't felt since BC
- not constantly being hailed as some exalted general by every NPC you meet after doing 5 kill quests and instead being just a small peon in the grand scheme of things like everyone else
- actually being able to die questing
- actually being able to die doing low level dungeons
- the game forcing you to come up with ways to beat it, even when you're just trying to solo an elite quest
- a genuine feeling of achievement and satisfaction after doing something hard (besides killing a raid boss)
- balancing (making all classes similar) and streamlining (menus, lfg/lfr, ...) like someone else said here
- a lot more that i cba writing down, the game is just completely adjusted to casual players now, it's more of an action adventure game than an MMO tbh
