Definitely I agree. If Blizzard releases a vanilla server that is not pure vanilla, I'm mostly likely going to move to another vanilla server out there. Nostalrius should still relaunch if Blizzard releases pristine servers or a modified vanilla server because that would just completely change the vanilla experience.

Fixed your quote.

Definitely I agree. If Blizzard releases a classic server that is not pure classic, I'm mostly likely going to move to another classic server out there. Nostalrius should still relaunch if Blizzard releases pristine servers or a modified classic server because that would just completely change the classic experience.

No way in Hell. It hit me a short while ago that Jeffrey Kaplan aka Tigole wasn't present for the Nostalrius meeting. He seems like the one guy you'd want at a meeting regarding legacy WoW. The fact that he wasn't in attendance conveys a strong and unpleasant message.

He is the lead developer for Overwatch though. He can't just stop working on that branch now, as much as Tigole is a major part of classic, he's been shipped off since around 2008... I see where you're coming from though; it should be the people that created the game/helped make it that should be on the 'blizzard legacy project' if there is even going to be one.

Me too. Because the people behind Nostalrius truly love Vanilla, just as much as we do. While Blizzard loves money. I wouldn't mind paying a sub fee to play on official Vanilla, but any form of cash shop would not be acceptable to me. And we've seen how much Blizz loves to milk players, so why would they treat Vanilla any differently.

Incoming.... Boost to 60 instantly, for only $49.99!

Boost to lvl 60 is not anything .... say weekly honor boost or decay exemption ticket that's the real fear

I agree completely. Blizzard could very well say that they have a plan, and need some time to think about it, when in reality, they just want to postpone the issue until it makes sense for them to seriously consider making legacy server. And that time is probably when the retail wow is really not doing that well, and they need a way to boost their sales.

Another good reason for doing this might be to fool the vanilla player base into thinking that Blizzard actually want to do this on the short-run, and let the momentum further die down.

Classic PR approach....

This.

Blizzard only wants more money, that's not bat in business. I prefer Nost Team to relaunch a perfect server and code.
