The commitment is too high just to say that. Don't make a server that you cannot keep. No even more important, do not make a huge community wait like retards for 7 months and "we'll see after blizzcon". I hope we really see something, not another "we are working on it" "they are really listening to us"

Devs have never asked or forced you to do anything for the project.

You have being part of a community driven, non-profitable project. There is no such thing as "commitment" same way we are not protected by consumer laws. Projects like these stays alive as long Developers feels its worth their time. No matter what reason, they have the right to pull the plug. That's the harsh fact. But in this case, they are willing to keep dialogue open for the community.

It's not quite farsighted to say something like: "Don't make a server that you cannot keep." What you even mean by that? It fits for every non-profitable Private server projects out there. In all honesty... demanding something like that... is a bit retarded.
