I disagree as well.

It is better that the quality of the stock Vanilla server be raised.

In the short-term, the community WILL go to Elysium. They will have the bulk of the Nostalrius team working over there and therefore, the top end service and development quality. How it is branded isn't going to be a huge deal. They can simply call the realm "Nostalrius".

Should Elysium collapse in the future, it will be nice if other projects can start with a higher quality base server and further build on it.

A better Vanilla community should be sharing their advancements with each other to advance the gameplay for all of us, and not keeping all that work siloed and wasted in the long-term.
