Thats some weird ass shit. Not even 3 warlocks for curses, feral....?, no PI.
The only competent answer to this post would be asking which content and if progression or farm status.

imo if you only run 2 warlocks and no shadow priests, then there isn't a great need for a curse of shadows.

The idea behind the feral is we are only running 2 protection warriors, so the feral can be a 3rd tank when a 3rd tank is needed, while still increasing his party's DPS, and then in fights where a 3rd tank is not needed, he would provide more DPS than a protection warrior who is DPSing

Why not just a fury with some tanking gear? 2 locks, no spriest, no CoS sounds a lot like pre-16 debuff slots where casters could barely get hit gear (mages from spec at least). But post BWL or even in BWL that seems suboptimal with 16 debuff slots. When it comes to priests, why more than 1 with spiritual healing and imp renew per raid? The rest can spec into PI and heal as efficient

just run 1 prot and 3 MS/prot warriors. ez

The priest's being listed as Holy is just to make clear that they are healing. I didn't mean to imply that they had to be specced more into holy than disc necessarily.

The reason for using a feral druid over a fury with tank gear when a 3rd tank is needed is, when a 3rd tank is needed, the feral is still providing a DPS buff to their party which would increase DPS, while a fury warrior in tank gear in that situation would not be able to increase the party's DPS.

The reason for having only 2 warlocks is that Mages seem to put out more DPS when they are Frost (MC / BWL) since warlocks (on Horde) tend to have threat issues if they do too much damage. Then, once mages go Fire (AQ / Naxx) they seem to be much more damage than a warlock would anyway. I don't feel like having more than 2 warlocks is worth it, since 2 is enough to put up curse of elements / recklessness, and then beyond that, mages would probably do more damage and be more effective AOE.

A full Druid raid isn't possible simply because this many Druids doesn't exist. They are an endangered species, and I implore you not to kill one if you see one.

Druids are actually fun to level. I don't know why no one plays them.

Imo, Feral Druids were much more fun to level than rogue. Druids, while may be lacking in dps, have far more utility than rogues do. When things go wrong? Pop bear form + frenzied regeneration.

In bgs, stealth can often prevent your premature death (druids beings a very squishy healer). You choose when to come into battle. Stealthed pocket healers ftw!

Travel form helps a TON before 40 mount. And as a druid, you are immune to all of mages main CC. Shapeshift removes slow, roots and morph. This combined with travel form pre 40. GG.

Speaking of leveling spec, DO NOT level balance. It is a living hell. Cast 5 spells, oom. No wand. No form of mana regen (other than innervate). Starfire takes an eternity to cast and still barely does any damage. You need to root mobs - or suffer inifinite pushback. GL trying to kill ranged caster mobs while every other cast you make is a healing spell.

Leveling feral you have literally zero down time. Cat dps, take down a mob or two depending on difficulty, switch to caster, heal, back to cat. Rinse and repeat.
