"Regarding the future release of Nostalrius related data; we confirmed that we will *not* be officially endorsing any private server. "

"For now, our source code may be release 30th of April (educational purposes only) in the hope that it will be useful, and that it may help developers understand how a big project like ours was handled from the inside. As we are not willing to help people that do bad things within World of Warcraft, all of the specific cheating / botting / gold seller / ... protection or detection systems we developed and polished during all this time will not be available on this public release. This date may be changed depending on the input provided by the overall feedback of legacy servers."

That person doesn't handle text comprehension it seems.

Idiots are you guys still supporting nost after they went back on they're word about releasing full source with database too. And without the database it's practicality useless to us players. And without the custom anti-cheat and other 3rd party software they have running it's practicality useless to other servers too.

Actually while ofcourse anti-cheat and other things would be a great help to other servers, the same can be said for the things they will be releasing. Also, the player data will be released for players who choose so, as it says in the announcement. Please read things before you start shouting stuff

Anti-cheat, map improvements, and a few others are also part of the mangos fork from http://getmangos.eu and publicly available for every server to use. Performance improvements for networking and more players are currently implemented in cmangos, and should also allow for player numbers such as seen on Nostalrius.
