blocking non english clients would help because it might discourage the huge part of the chinese "community" from playing here in the first place. gettting rid of a huge portion of undesirable players. and only the ones with good enough english skills would remain. that would not solve all problems the server has but it would help alot.

also playing with a foreign client is just silly. you can't use many addons that rely on the english language, when you link items ppl need to click them first to find out what you are talking about.

with the foreign clients the chat usually looks like this:

Server rules state it's an english speaking server and have to use english on public channels. Well they spam a lot of chinese text and BG pugs are just a pain forcing everyone to premade now.

I have a macro I use to spam them back. It's just alt+255 which produces a blank space, then press enter. They blankchat me, I blankchat them back. Then they shut up for some reason.

this is in game commercail method, these lvl1 r G-farm workshop, not ordinary chinese player.
The truth happens is they inv u into a group and spamming u gold-trade, power lvling, etc. all kinds of servcies.
u could see these advertising message if u have installed chinese font into ur game folder.
not only u dislike this kind exprience, all chinese wow love player hate it too.
And the worse part of it u ever exprience, in chinese retail these gold workshop has kind of programmed bot, add ppl and spamming u trash message every shit sec. in ur fcvking wisper chat and public channel.

The problem is that this population is hurting and has been hurting the community. The lag factor is the most obvious example, in which you have some 5000 players all with 350-700 ms ping throttling the server down. The second is the language barrier. I've been able to hold a basic english conversation with most players from across the globe (Russia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Philippines, Japan just to name a few) but the majority of Chinese players cannot type a basic English sentence. This is extremely frustrating in BGs, let alone common encounters such as trade or dungeons.
