im willing to be that if there was a second server, we'd have 2x 12k people playing. i am sure there is a lot of people NOT playing because of the china lag. if the clustering does fix the lag we will instantly be at 15-20k online.

Pottu confirmed (again) that there will be no new Nostalrius PvP server "in the near future", which probably translates to "never". They're working on BC, clustering, and keeping the hackers at bay.

Whoever said this was a loser. You know, as someone who's done great, just absolutely great on Nostalrius and in life, I know what a winner needs to win. You have to make an offer they can't refuse, as a good friend of mine in business once said, someone who's a real true American, someone who really knew how to make a deal.

So I just have to say, whoever said this was a loser, and that's why Chinese guilds are kicking your ass. What's wrong with the other PvP server?
At peaks times: The mobs and the players, (the whole view distance is fucked because of server lag) only come into view mere inches before you stand on top of them. No view distance in BG's either. You even aggro mobs that arent even visible yet sometimes. You stand as a melee character on top of your target and it still says that you're too far away. Whenever you press a key it can take 0,5 to 2 seconds before it actually casts. Disconnections and server downtime when you're in raids, removing valuable buffs. Too little gathering nodes to level professions. Not enough quest mobs cause they're all being camped. Too much ganking because of 14.000+ players online at peak times. Of which like 4000 are gold farmers.

The list goes on buddy. Don't be this copy and paste wiseguy with "Whats wrong with the current server, stop whining" bs. It's more than obvious there is a serious overpopulation going on. And guess what?
In this thread we are trying to do something about it. Besides, Pottu actually did say they will open a new Vanilla PvP realm if we - the community - work for it. So that's what we are trying to do here.

I think this is a great idea, I'd be happy to contribute money to make this happen and I think a lot of other people wouild as well. Only problem I see is getting reliable Gamemasters, it seems like the current staff is very tight knit and might not be very open to new candidates.

The population is big enough to support two servers that's for sure and will give new players finding the server an opportunity to start fresh.

They already announced clustering. Keep your Tits Calm and wait for it.
If u dont like the Goal of nost uniting Players all over the world on 1 Server (which obviously Leads to high Pop), Join another project.
