I can't find ANY info on DME Black Lotus before TBC. Was it really a thing in vanilla? I've found plenty of resources stating 2x nodes would spawn in the arena with other herbs though.

Why do I keep seeing people mentioning blizzlike DME black lotuses without presenting any actual proof? Shouldn't be too hard since I'm sure tons of people would've been doing it back in vanilla if it existed.

I don't know about the arena lotus, but even if it was implemented I think the impact on the pricing would be miniscule.

The only time Black Lotus spawned in Dire Maul in vanilla was when Mushgog the arena boss spawned. This is currently not happening on Nost, but tbh that would fix nothing since it's so few spawns.

Would not be a HUGE fix, but it would stop the accounts that place lower level alts at nodes to pick. You'd need a little organization to not get trashed while picking the BL.

At this point, the issue seems mainly due to the style of players on the server and not due to a lack of sources.

The style of players on this server is the same style as the raiders back in late vanilla, the only difference is that there's a ton more of them.

People are stockpiling them because they have no other choice, if the proper number of lotus were available in the world there would be no need to stockpile.

If we think prices are bad now, just wait until the war effort hits, or the first week of aq. This stuff is gonna be crazy expensive.
