Nostalrius player survey - Background and mental health

I woke up with hangover today, and felt like doing this, as this was the last chance to get such knowledge of what type of players the server attracted, before everyone parted.

The survey where made out of curiosity, and having a fun data set to play with.

But I guess with the amount of respondents, this would be valuable marketing info for Blizzard, to compare our demography with theirs.

I honestly expected the test result to give me the odds of me killing myself.

Some diagnostic tools for depression also have a question with this. However there are many different, this MHI-5 was the one with most information I could get hands on fast.

My "mental health" portion is a lot more negative than my average because of college.

I know that the causes are many, and it will be close to impossible for me to make any precise causation.

I was expecting the same thing. My answers were pretty grim.

I would suggest you ask your doctor, if you suspect you have any mental problems. The test can only show some symptoms, and can not be used to diagnose.

I took it, for whatever it's worth. My total hours are in my signature. I gathered those up when I originally quit 2 months ago, and haven't done much since then. Maybe a dozen or so extra hours since then sitting around on various characters talking, and in the last 2 days talking in game. Not much to add.

I feel kinda sorry I didnt add more to this survey, I didnt expect to ge so many respondents.

Would have been interesting to add some questions to evaluate the server, questions about customer support, server stability etc.

On the other hand a survey can easily become too long, and this was my initial focus.
