Yes, what? The only thing that announcement said is that you won't release the source code and that you have recorded some videos of the beggining of Nostalrius.

1) I hope the reason you don't want to release the source code is that you are going to talk with blizzard. I don't care about the "source code", i just want my fucking characters in another realm, and maybe those 1k hours spent in your server were something worth. Besides of that, you make "Anti-cheat" the reason why don't u want to release it. Big damn lie since if that was true you wouldn't have said you'd release it few weeks ago.
But ok, let's say in this point that you decided not to because you still have to talk with blizz.

Nostalrius said they would release the source code and that we would keep playing our characters in another realm. Some realms like Vanilla.re and Valkyrie were willing to keep our characters so Nostalrius community could continue it's journey where we left it.

Now Nostalrius says that we won't, then they are a bunch of liars, and you are a bunch of retarded salty people who just come to say "move on retard blablabla".

It doesn't cost anything to them to just copy the playerbase to another server. Nostalrius could have moved the server's host to another place but they didn't because they never wanted to, Malaco said so and i truly believe him since he is an admin with a really high knowledge.

Nostalrius is just constantly creating false expectatives that they cannot (or don't want to) keep , just saying stop creating worthless hype.

And yes, still im grateful with all this movement against blizzard.

Nos is under the thumb of Blizzard now (in some way, shape or form yet to be revealed). You can tell by their behavior on the forums here and their twitter posts. The sudden change of mind with the source code release. Blizzard has got to them. The worst thing that can happen now is they actually help Blizzard make vanilla servers. I don't know if you've all been following how Blizzard works recently (youthinkyoudobutyoudont) but their players are not in their best interests - making quick money, by any means necessary is. Blizzard making Legacy servers is the WORST thing that can happen for vanilla players. If you don't see that now, you will eventually.

What makes you think i did that? Your comment is totally pointless since you talk assuming something that isn't even true.

But anyway i see why you don't care, you were just a RP player shitting around doing world pvp with your blue/green gear. And i respect you played vanilla for that, it's fine. But my character was dozen times more valuable than yours, and it was very precious to me because took time to build it up.

You think it didnt take me time to build up 3 whole active guilds dedicated to World-PvP? (Averagely 2% of online horde players were part of my guilds) total of 400 active members, everyone individually handled and introducted, and who knows how many more thousands who probably quit nost eventually.
Finding people with a World-PvP interest was very hard. I was always recruiting hard, but look what happened...and yet, i dont really care, it was a blast and im glad i had fun, met all those people, was part of that epic year and built some reputation

And for the sake of accuracy, i was blue+epic geared, along with exalted bgs, but eh, im very glad i gave up ranking really early and just started world-pvping daily, never regret that choice. Being an RPer doesnt make it any less valuable.

No they didn't. They said "maybe". Get over it. At this point we don't care about any more "private" servers - we care about Blizzard making Vanilla Official Servers. If that doesn't work, then we can resume our talks of a new server with the Nostalrius code. But NOT with its database. You're gonna re-roll either way so suck it up.

Bottom line ? You're just someone that likes to play for FREE and will never pay a dime to blizzard. Most of us want to PAY for Official Vanilla.
