Sad thing is that even if blizz opens vanilla servers, they will be way less crowded than nost was. I know that 13k people is not blizzlike, but hey (the china lag apart) it was super awesome.
I tried Kronos and Kronos 2, but seeing OG or IF with so few people makes me instantly stop playing (even tho there are more people than in Crossserver Capitols of WoD).
I am forever spoiled, atleast i have my Memories from Nost.

agreed, every bg available 24/7 was the best man. Dont think we will ever have anything like that again unless zombienost rises from the grave.

Should the Nost team NOT do that I'll do all in my ability to remind them (again) how the time for being considerate of the law is long past. Didn't wanna break the law? Shouldn't have made a private server. That excuse is very cheap and frankly won't work for me if they use it.

Also unfortunately against any form of common sense, given they have personally been to Blizzard - meaning any and all personal details and contact information of the core staff is now well known to the company who has next to unlimited resources to sue them for doing such a thing.

They won't, basically because they haven't done yet, they didn't want to. I know the devs of nostalrius are very clever people, and they knew the risk of making a private server like this, but what i want to mention is that they could have just moved the server , and they would have been untouchables, this has been discussed by few people with high knowledge of private servers (for example Malaco).

Nostalrius team decided instead to shut the server down, and i honestly think that will not return ever again.
