I enjoyed Nost when it was open. However, i also enjoy Legion. To me, they arent even the same game, and yes it is possible to enjoy both of them. I am in full support of legacy servers, and to try to deny my support because i also happen to like legion is the stupidest thing you can possibly do.

I don't play Legion because I don't like it but this post is silly af. Blizzard is killin it on Legion either way. The couple thousand people who would play legion but won't because of legacy servers are a drop in the bucket man. They don't notice your lack of sub and they don't care. Not saying it's wrong to avoid purchasing a product on principle if you don't agree with their values and the way they operate, but to say that you are actively doing something and people who purchase aren't is deluded man. You're not doing much and neither are they.

Here's how it works:
If they release legacy servers it will be because they believe it can make them a profit.
Any private legacy server that they don't attempt to shut down is only because they believe it isn't costing them money.

Your old ass isn't their target market anymore and neither is mine.

I'm sick of seeing posts about pro-legacy server players who played Legion.

You realize every one of you people who did that supported Blizzard's latest turd? why would they possibly waste resources on Legacy servers of you keep supporting every new expansion that comes out? You, yes YOU are part of the biggest reason we will never have them.

That being said I hope Blizzard never makes Legacy servers because their current staff sucks in every meaning of the word. They would somehow mess it up and mess it up on an epic scale. So to you flipfloppers, please do keep supporting the new expansions because it will help to keep Blizzard off the backs of private server hosts. But do us all a favor and stop acting like you care about vanilla or the legacy of what WOW used to be, because you clearly don't.

I bought Legion and I am disappointed in myself.. I just bought it out of sheer boredom. Was bored of overwatch. The reason I really bought it was I wanted to play around with all the new combat models and animations I really didn't think i'd even play the game. I think blizzard did a fabulous job on the new animations and updated sounds. They are more impactful and very well done. However, having said that .. I shouldn't have wasted money for that.. but i was bored. If they come out with a solid vanilla legacy server based on the original code I'll play it. If they don't and Nostalrius can somehow run a new server I definitely would like to play on it.

I bought legion am fiarly enjoying it but am ready for my Vanilla fix again. You know why i want both!? because i enjoy playing both which i would think is what blizzard wants!

I guess I should've worded it differently. What I meant was if you are one of the people genuinely pushing for legacy servers - and you bought legion - then your voice has no value here.

Every copy of legion sold is one more reason why Blizzard will never make a legacy server. If you bought Legion you are part of the problem.

I want to say again, I hope Blizzard never ever makes a legacy server because the people working for them now are clueless and would surely corrupt the spirit of what vanilla wow was.
