Instead of trying to figure out if he is "Gold Farming", you should study him a bit to see if he is botting. Most botters are normally Druids, Hunters, Mages, or Rogues. They have the quickest amount of DPS and crushing a whole camp of Satyrs would only take about 5-7 minutes, getting like 1-2 Felcloth every 3rd camp or respawn cycle.

Best way to spot a botter is to watch what he does after killing a mob and watching him as he moves around.
