Yeah that's what my idea of a PuG is. It's a group mainly formed of random people who /poked a guy on the bridge in IF to get invited (not sure what the horde equivalent of this is)

For comparison, the PuG I was in the other night wiped 3 times on Onyxia before killing her

That kind of pug will not kill AQ40 in a reasonble timeframe. Has such a pug killed BWL even on this server? I doubt it and BWL is a far easier instance.

can we suggest the Admins/devs apply the draw distance reduction and other "pvp realm" aspects to the next PTR session so we can actually catch those pvp realm specific bugs before it hits the live realm? even if they have to put 7,000 gnome bots in ironforge or silithus for AQ testing. seems like when everything is working on PTR realm, it ends up imploding during live realm release.

just a suggestion. ;)

You're assuming that the reason you don't see BWL being pugged is the the difficulty of the instance.

I find that pretty improbable.

It took months for regularly occurring MC pugs to start. It wasn't because of the difficulty of MC.

Battleguard Sartura and Fankriss are not too complicated for a PUG. The PUG-Killer will be Huhuran, and on the off-chance a PUG manages to brute force down Huhu, they ain't getting past Twin Emperors.

PUGs clearing the Spider-wing and Instructor Razuvius will happen, too.

The first few bosses of AQ40 are easy because it was an intentional design choice by Blizzard.

view distance rendering may get fixed from the clustering announcement. who knows, maybe this will fix half the issues on Nost without any extra work being required. :)

Unless there is a gamebreaking bug in AQ40, it will be cleared by atleast 4+ guilds on the first day.
oh, ok.

I have to admit i Never really encountered Any problems with viewdistance in raids. Or Any dungeon at all... Also Not in Prime Time raiding...
I just Hope they Open the Beta testing alot erlier than Zg for example ... Because there is way more to Test.

It should be noted that AQ40 and AQ20 were tested for quite a good portion of the day in Open Beta. Obviously not everything was tested since it was just a bunch of ppl logging in and banding together, but it has in fact already been tested some. But yea...lots to test still.
