Anyway if you're so upset about Nost running a PIRATE server on software STOLEN from Blizzard, why are you even here?

I am not upset Nostalrius is running stolen software from Blizzard. I am glad they do. Blizzard refuse to sell it to us and no one is making a profit and the owner is not losing profit so i have no moral issue with playing here and I think the Nostalrius project is amazing. But we should not be kidding ourselves with what this is.

Nostalrius isn't a pirate server and playing on a private server is not illegal in any sense. And if a court case were to occur and the court ruled in Blizzard's favor it would only be because the court system wouldn't understand the nature of the case. Also Blizzard would also hire one of the best legal teams in the field if push came to shove

In any case it is not considered pirating because when we bought the boxed game we purchased a license to use the client. We paid for a subscription to connect to Blizzard's servers. Blizzard gave users of the client the ability to connect to different servers using the realmlist.wtf file. Servers such as Nostalrius use their own intellectual property (scripts) and not Blizzard's. Therefore if you still have the boxed client with the CD key and CDs there is no pirate aspect to the situation whatsoever. Stop saying Nostalrius is running stolen software because it's fucking dumb.

It have actually got 25k views so far and it's less than 1 month old which is pretty hilarious.

That's something to brag about? Come on, I got 25k views in 1 month on one video that I put 0 effort into making and I've never bragged to anyone. As someone who monetized their account just for the hell of it I can confirm that 25k views can only produce one or two dollars at best. Keep peddling your shit channel, and keep trying to be somebody.

Oh really? Well lets look on the definition of Pirate: "One who makes use of or reproduces the work of another without authorization." Do you honestly think Blizzard gave Nostalrius permission to run their shieat on this server? My guess is no = it's a Pirate server.
