The only way to end the stupidity that is reserving loot is to not participate in any group where something is reserved. Especially the Baron Rivendare mount.

Seriously if you don't like it, don't join. You guys don't realise how much time the RL spends to get the ppl for raid, while you are doing nothing on alt+tab... And he cannot have 1 item from it? LOL

I think that in this game and on this server you should and are allowed to do basically anything you want. This is not the real world and we don't need protection from maffia, murder and crime
I personally think it's f-ed up when people reserv things all the time and I simply don't join them, not syaing I never will. But, just for the sake of argument, aren't you a "thief" if you reserv items and offer nothing in return? And if you aren't, who cares? It's a fun part of the game, but it's f-ed up, but it's fun.

Providing he and his friends hosting the run are well geared and experienced players, they are offering the promise of a fast, smooth run in compensation. This is enough to fill the group in the majority of cases, which is all that matters.

Good luck finding an MC pug where nothing is reserved.

you can always make your own runs...
or not do the ones with people who reserve half the instance.

for example: when people say "LFM healer stratholme live, righteous orbs reserved" I always think... hm.. why would I run strat live and miss out on a great item to AH for gold as a healer.. i'll just go herb..

thus starts the endless cycle of reserve runs.

less reserves = more opportunity to get the run going.
more reserves = no one wants to participate unless they get a shot at an item which isn't reserved.
