It seems like the dynamic spawn system simply isn't enough, time to bring out the Blizzlike DM East BL node?

There is no dilemma. There are a shit ton of lotuses, people are just not selling them. They are stacking them for AQ.

Being an herbalist should not be a prerequisite to being able to successfully survive raiding. The prices are absolutely unreasonable. Or would you like to argue that the current prices are fine? I don't care what people are doing with the lotuses they have stocked, I care about how much they are going for in the AH. THAT is the bottom line.

Being in a guild that isn't complete garbage is a prerequisite to being able to successfully survive raiding. Guilds are stocking up on Black Lotuses, and have been for a very, very long time. Guilds that aren't shit, that is. This is blizzlike.

I'm sorry. I will bet you a black lotus that ANY progressive guild will require flasking for progressive content. We do. Does yours not?

And junk guilds aren't 6/6 for world bosses, but thanks for the effort.

Our guild has enough Black Lotuses for now, and until several months into Naxx.

I've provided a lot of said lotuses. Here's a tip, try not to be bad.

This isn't retail. You don't get everything for free. It's perfectly blizzlike. You think everyone had cheap flasks back then? No. Top guilds completely monopolized that shit. On nost, the % of guilds that are stocked with flasks is far beyond that of retail vanilla.

Your plan is useless cause it distills down to "should have planned more" when every flask I have was purchased by me. And it's the same situation for anyone else who isn't an herbalist. We don't just naturally get them in our grinding. We turn cash into lotuses while you are off picking flowers. So if your plan isn't just plan more, then is it everyone turn into an herbalist? Yeah that'll fix the problem too.

Black lotus prices are the way they are because supply is far less than demand and price is reflecting that. There is a shortage. Just cause you have plenty doesn't mean that the server isn't running a shortage. We need more supply to balance it out.

BTW you hording is causing this problem. Thanks!

There is no shortage. People just aren't selling to outside of guilds very much, because guilds are hoarding in preperation for progression content. If your guild hasn't been doing that, it's doing it wrong.

You're crying because people aren't being stupid, to help stupid people in bad guilds.

AH prices are actively reflecting a shortage. The less there are the more the price goes up except in artifical areas (aka ungoro cartel). Do you understand basic economics? Do you ever buy anything off of the AH? Stuff that you can't farm directly must be bought from the AH or a private seller. The prices reflect the demand. Demand is higher when the supply is low. The fact that black lotuses are in short supply is not an opinion to be argued. Guild hording is directly responsible for the shortage. Not all guilds hoard. Therefore to the average person this is a problem.
