All I see in this thread is crybabies indirectly asking for handouts.

One guild locking down every single spawn.
ALL 13k of the pop fighting for the lotuses.
Chinese farmers.
Kronos economy where the only competition fighting you for nodes is tumbleweed.

Strong arguments!
Now back to reality. Stop writing blog posts and go pick some flowers you sissies.

it doesn't matter if they spawn every 5 minutes if there are 10 people standing around trying to get one.

The problem is a population problem.

It's the same with elemental earth, you can make more rock elementals spawn but there is always gonna be 5 people in every area 24/7.

I'd like to see a massive increase in supply and have black lotus be a random drop off high level herbs.

Sure, the big guilds that have been hording it don't care. They don't want the rest of the server to have access to the herbs so they'll be able to progress faster. Or they're making a killing off the herb itself.

There's is no reason the supply shouldn't be increased significantly other then pure greed. The whole "get more hardcore" is absolute bullshit when we're dealing with chinese farmers and 13k+ people who are competing for shit that 1-4 guilds MAX would be using back on retail. We've got significantly more that need this shit and eventually it'll just reach a critical point where guilds will fall apart as they wipe over and over again in progression due to not having the necessary flasks. When my guild downed nef for the first time we have nearly the entire raid flasked for the first and we one shot it that night. We wiped nonstop the weeks before. It's insane how much of a difference it makes.

Shit sucks man

The hardcore guilds and tryhard people always had way more flasks etc in retail just from time put in. But everyone else still could easily afford 1 flask a week.
You can do this content without flasks, but part of the fun of vanilla was flasking up. It's blizzlike to be able to afford to buy a flask. The current situation on Nost is just stupid, it's vanilla wow but without the flasks.

On the PvP server, the price for Black Lotus hit 100g each prior to BWL release and dropped to 70g right afterwards. It then dropped to 45g after the Dynamoc Respawn system was added. It's back up to ~90g prior to AQ40 release. This spike is expected and player driven. There are enough Black Lotus picked throughout the day that could support a multitude of guilds, not to mention the instanced Black Lotus in Alterac Valley (which has its BG weekend this weekend...).

The market is player driven due to demand, not supply. If you want Black Lotus for yourself, you'll need to compete to get one. You are not entitled to them. Topic locked, again.
